FCM, you are correct. Jobs in my series and the required grade I need are difficult to find in this area. You would think it would be easy, but they changed staffing models so things are becoming a little more difficult for advancement. However, I search continuously and one day it’ll happen.
Howdy Y’all! After N.O.L. and nappage I started laundry. Last load is in the dryer. I yanked some ground beast outta da freezer because tomorrow shall be taco night. OLÈ! Tacos, refried beans and Mexican rice seem like a good idea after all the turkey and trimmin’s eatin’ of the last few days. Since I am sans adult supervision I et a grilled cheese sammich a little bit ago. OYKW returns tomorrow. YAY!

Home! Dental check-up was good. Bad part was discovering the husband-wife team that owned the practice have moved to NC. The new dentist seems nice enough, and they’re looking to get another one. I’d probably be more upset/concerned if I went for more than just routine checkups. I gots good toofies! 
We went to Salsa’s for supper afterwards. Yum. Now we’re in veg mode till bedtime.
Rub it in, swampy. I’ll be retired in 14 more years and you’ll be older than dirt. 
We got some rain here too. It was a dark and wet drive home, but we needed it.

Today I drove up to Portland to see new neurologist. She think I have chronic migraines and some other thing. New meds prescribed. See her in 4 weeks and then start even more (so as not to start too many at once). If she’s right, I’ll still be a person who has frequent migraines (10 days a month maybe) but it won’t be every day like it is now. We’ll see.
Then I went to a team meeting at my son’s school, where we all agreed that 'Beamer has autism and ADHD. We will meet again in a few weeks to discuss what we will do about that. On the one hand, it is lovely to be working with an educational system that is not fighting tooth and nail to deny him the services he needs. On the other hand, hearing the summary of the testing was just so depressing. He’s very bright, but really he’s Sheldon personified, and life is not a sitcom. There’s just so much about life that he doesn’t get. Oh well. We’re moving forward. Focus on the positive.
Off to [del]nag[/del] gently encourage 'Beamette to finish up her Science project. Fun times.

I am as mad as a wet setting hen. My paycheck was FUBARED AND I was missing hours and Sunday Premium time from the 14 hours I irked shuttling around 721 drunks. My boss is an idiot. Tis very disheartening to work above and beyond and not be paid for the extra. I did not even get a full 80 hours. I mentioned it to boss and he said the “system” did something and to take it up with the HR lady. When I called her today about something else she said she was busy fixing the current pay cause it was shorting manager holiday pay. That’s when I told her about the PPE two weeks+ ago shorting me Premium time and giving me less than 80. Tomorrow I say betake myself, my pay stub and my time sheet to her boss. Bastids.
