The Innocent Man on Netflix

Have any of you watched this show?

I started it yesterday and could not stop watching it. I binge watched the whole thing.

It’s a true crime story based on a book by John Grisham from back in 2006. I’d never read the book and had never heard of these cases.

I highly recommend this series. My emotions were all over the place. It made me so angry and it made me cry. This review agrees with me that this is a must watch show.

Not to be confused with An Innocent Man…sad movie. Not sure if I could watch again

I read the book, but think it only focused on one case, is there more than one on the series?

Yes, there are two cases in Ada that the show focuses on. I really admire the people who work with the innocence project. They are doing really good stuff.

I enjoyed the series.

Thank you for mentioning it.

Watched the whole damned thing yesterday.

It was riveting, despite some pacing issues and odd filler choices (wtf was with the Yankee baseball scenes. I know Ron a baseball prospect, but still)

It’s hard to have faith in human decency, let alone law enforcement, after watching stuff like this.
