toodles
I had no idea you were invisible. That must be soooo cool.
I hope I didn’t miss the point.
I can only assume the the OP is fishing for a “Oh so-and-so! We loved your first 140 posts! Please stay!”. Kind of like an e-suicide note.
Not that I don’t feel the same way sometimes. Hell, I wrote some damn good posts last night and got maybe two replies. I even bagged on Canada, and no one stood up for their proud (but technologicly inept) country.
Maybe if I started a second account and started flaming people… then I could log on and flame the first account and…
I am responding to MadPoet’s post, cuz we don’t want people flaming themselves here. Besides, he’s already not right in the head (just check out that name) so we wouldn’t want to upset him.
As for the OP . . . um, bye and everything I guess, but I thought Eric Estrada was already dead.
I saw your disses on Canada, brother. And the only reason I didn’t call you on it is … you’re right.
Actually, I should 'splain. I too work in the computer industry in Canada. My husband and I run our own business and we field many tech support calls every day. And you’re right … people are freakin stupid.
Obviously we don’t deal on an international level, so I have little basis of comparison as to whether Americans or Canadians are more backwards technologically. HOWEVER …
The only American customer we’ve had in the past year (a guy with a summer home here) was blisteringly stupid. Unbelievably so. I’d tell you about it, but I’ve hijacked enough already! Sorry about that, but it looked like there wasn’t SH*T going on here anyway.
To OP: Wait a minute! Aren’t you starring in that new movie, “The Hollow Man”? Awesome special effects, dude.
Wait a minute ponch. Won’t you at least explain why?
Most people are pretty dumb, I think the problems is the accents exacerbate the problem by giving something to focus on. He must be stupid because he’s from Canada. Or New York. Or Orygone.
As is, the only gripes I have with Canadians are the lack of understanding in international shipping, which I assume we’d have too if we bought canadian made products, and the tendency to uptalk (make every sentence sound like a question) that some province has, but I don’t remember which. Maybe Manitoba.
Other than that, I have all people equally.
That was, of course, meant to say “hate”. The worst thing about the board being slow is having time to proof your own post after hitting submit.
(Bump)
Ponch? Please tell me why you are leaving forever?
Well, never fear. I’ll try and pick up whatever slack is left behind. I’ve already posted more today than I have in the past year. Does that help?
Why am I reminded of Zarathustra’s thread from a while back where the guy basically said he was looking to get a rise and/or response out of people? Only difference is that Z’s first post was to say goodbye.
Just a thought.
