In his attempt at giving all parties a fair shake and dispelling ignorance our pal Cecil has only hinted at the entertainment surrounding this controversy. My favorite moment was when the late Sen. H. J. Heinz III stood on the Senate floor and stated that ketchup was a condiment, not a vegetable, and if anybody would know that it would be him. I had never paid much attention to him before he went against his party (and it was a very partisan issue) but realized that he was someone to watch. I was saddened by his death, despite his being a Republican.
