All words are made up.
You just contigulated that!
So the word out of Pittsburgh today is that Todd Haley trashed his rental home and removed fixed appliances and other fixtures (including toilets) that were not his. This guy is a real piece of garbage. Of course, we knew that when he was hired, his track record was established before he ever showed up as the offensive coordinator. We just hoped that he would do something good for the team. As he has failed completely in that regard, he has no redeeming value whatsoever.
Fire this fucking guy. Do it today.
Spiders?
LOL.
And the comments in ADUSAF’s linked article are full of win.
My favorites:
“Once again, Todd Haley is about to skip town leaving nothing but a rebuilding project.”
"Haley: Scoring points against the Jets defense isn’t as easy you would think. Any ideas?
Tomlin: Throw everything at them but the kitchen sink.
Haley: I’m on it."
“Forcible stripping of the bathroom should at least bring him closer to his QB.”
“It must be asked: What did they do with all that crap?”
Todd Haley: (Standing next to comically over-sized slingshot.) “Line up, cockfaces! Alright, if you can catch a water heater, you can catch a fucking football!”

I’m intrigued by some of the moves being made with the week off:
Cameron Heyward is starting inplace of Ziggy Hood. A move that was long overdue in my opinion although Hood hasn’t been especially bad, Heyward has been noticeably better.
They also released Kion Wilson and brought back Stevenson Sylvester. They kept Wilson for his Special Teams play (and Sylvester’s injury history) but I think they’re finding they need someone to challenge Williams for the starting job. It’s no secret that Polamalu has had to help him with his gaps and of course that leaves the rest of the DBs with more area to cover. Couple that with the loss of Casey hampton and his ability to control the center of the line and something had to give.
So far so good, the other big change is at LT of course where Beachum and Brown have been splitting reps. You’d have to think Levi Brown wins that battle. Adams has all the tools, hopefully he can get it all sorted out. drafting as late in the draft as the Steelers usually do he’s probably as good a raw talent that’s ever going to fall to them at that spot.
Well, except for next year.
sob
Mike Adams is not even dressed today. I’m all for sending the kid a message but anything that means a non-zero chance of Guy Whimper playing is a bad move in my books.
OK, today’s the day the Steelers get off the schneid. I’m feeling it.
Levi Brown injured himself in warm-ups so now Whimper is the primary backup across the line. Awesome.
Finally! They even generated two turnovers with no giveaways.
They played like a much better team than their record indicates (which they are) and the Jests played like a much worse team than their record indicates (also, which they are). Yet they still played way too much HaleyBall. When the wraps came off points went up.
If anything the offensive line managed to look even worse this week but overall a very satisfactory game.
Kudos to Hill for hanging onto that ball. That was a monstrous hit.
So this week the Steelers get the Ratbirds. What can I say about this game? Anything can happen, the Steelers looked pretty good last week, and the Ratbirds are not looking good at all, which seems to be the normal pattern for Super Bowl winners.
As interesting as this game will be, being what might be the biggest rivalry in football right now, the games involving the other AFC North teams are equally as interesting. If Detroit can beat the Bengals the Steelers can close the gap with 4 division games left, meaning that their season is still alive. Cleveland should get destroyed by the Packers, and in light of their spate of wins with Hoyer it seems that Weeden doesn’t have what it takes.
Here’s hoping the Steelers can continue to make up ground. There’s a good chance they will.
But can you at least admit that the “Ratbirds” should win and that you’re not at their level of football?
Nope. They lost to the Bills two weeks ago. Hardly top-shelf football.
You didn’t answer my question. Aversion noted.
The Ravens don’t look very good at all. Plus they have Joe Flacco. Ngata, Suggs, and Dumervil are the game changers this week. If the Steelers can handle them it will make all the difference.
Steelers inactives: Jarvis Jones, QB Jones, WR Wheaton, CB CBrown, RB Redman, TE Gordon, NT Fangupo.
Jones was close but out with a concussion. Brown is just bad but apparently the Ravens are interested in him. No other surprises.
I DID answer your question. And as I type this the Steelers are providing a better answer than I could have given.
I have to begrudgingly admit Terrell Suggs is pretty awesome. Everyone was in position on that sack and Beachum even had help; he just forced it.
The line is playing surprisingly well. I was worried about Whimper but he has held his own and Adams looked fine when he was in there.
