The last Infinity War Trailer

I think the trailers make it clear that these two movies are grand slam out-of-the-park home runs being served up. Thank God; after that idiocy that was Thor 3, Black Panther and these movies will make everything good again.

I loved Thor Ragnarok and Black Panther was pretty good as well. Not as good as the reviews, but still entertaining.

There’s the Kiss of Death, because I thought Thor 3 was great. :stuck_out_tongue:

Looking forward to this one and A4 tremendously.

Thor: Ragnarok is my favorite MCU movie so far.

Thor 3 and Black Panther are definitely two of the best MCU movies so far, along with Guardians of the Galaxy.

I’m still amused by how the most technologically advanced societies–Asgard and Wakanda–in the MCU equip their best warriors with pointy sticks. Why not a musket? (I know, I know. It’s comics and it looks badass. But I still find it funny)

I was surprised and maybe even dismayed at the end of Thor:3, where Des and Troy actually are effective.

With what he did in a few seconds with some rather basic weapons that we developed decades ago, it seems the US army actually would be a very effective counter to Asgardian technology.

Clearly, Banner wasn’t correct about Hulking out again. But I am curious, who had the small green hand holding Thanos’ finger? Was it Gamora?

I still think that Thanos looks wrong without his helmet.

That’s my take – that it’s a flashback or something, since she’s Thanos’s adopted daughter (and in the next shot, you see what looks like a girl with long reddish-purple hair next to him).

Treat me like an idiot, please. Two movies? Huh?

This transparently plays to all my geek fantasies.

And fuck me does it ever work!

Basically, Avengers 3 and 4 were originally Infinity War Part 1 and 2. Now they are supposed to be two distinct but interconnected movies. Less “Deathly Hallows 1 and 2” and more “Two Towers and Return of the King.”

Correct. Surrounding them, you can see what appear to be Gamora’s former people under guard by Thanos’ army. In the comics it was some other group who killed Gamora’s people, but perhaps here it will be Thanos himself.

I suspect that Star Lord (who?) is right about Tony Stark’s planning abilities. Last time he was told he needed a plan of attack, his plan was: attack!

That said, I wish they said just what percentage of a plan Star Lord actually had.

Am I the only one who can not at all recognize Captain America with facial hair and no costume or shield? Like, people keep saying that’s Captain America when discussing this and other trailers, and I guess I believe them, because why would they lie, but…

The costume is like 90% the same, he just has a beard and no mask.

Is there any way in which Marvel is not crushing it?

Female leads, and Captain Marvel and the Black Widow movie are addressing that weak point.

That, and their villains generally suck. Loki is the only Bad Guy that has any serious style.

Zemo was a cool villain, Hela was a real badass and Killmonger was mostly excellent.

4 out of 17? Not a great average there.
