The last thing I bought on Ebay was...

…a pair of 10X60 binoculars. A bargain at £25.00.

The original Zelda game for Nintendo. And I beat it last night! (Well, the first quest anyway.)

A Nikkor 50mm AF lens with a P filter for $60.

A 48x CD-ROM drive for $9.99.

A monopoly Playmaster!

Hard to find and a great addition to my collection. It has the instructions and the power supply. Two items that are usually missing!

Several sets of hand-painted pencil sharpeners from China. I collect pencil sharpeners.

The Electric Light Orchestra’s “Mr. Blue Sky” on a 12" white label promo.

I collect ELO stuff, obviously.

I bought a cute stuffed Russ frog as a gift and a City of Heros account

20 coupons for barbeque sauce

A genuine made in Japan Zojirushi Microcomputer Rice Cooker. Amazing rice…

Cool Devices Operations 1-11 Boxed 3 Disc DVD set.

400 gramophone needles.

I never made the connection. I just assumed you were a summer person!
:smack:

A hardcover edition of Sir Hugh Platt’s Delights for Ladies.

Books…

I lost several of my books in my five-years-old divorce, and I’m slowly buying them back on eBay. I’m going through the Tom Clancy books right now, and at a few dollars apiece for hardcovers, it’s not a bad deal.

A Corey Patterson Game Used Pants Rookie Card.

Brass rubbing plates. Seven of them, all together.

Add paper and a crayon, and you’ve got a 16th-century obituary / copy machine.

A non-working laptop for parts to get another laptop working. An eBay rarity: it was actually better than the ad! So now I have a working laptop plus a bunch of laptop parts to sell on eBay. The latter will actually sell for more than I paid for the non-working one.

eBay is great if you don’t get ripped off.

I’ve read Sami41’s post several times and it still doesn’t parse.

Transformers the movie. The original one form like 1985.

A bunch of out-of-print VHS tapes of Warner Bros cartoons. This was before we knew they were definitely coming out on DVD. Still, I have scads of them that may not be out on DVD for quite awhile.
