Awww!
::giggles like Homer Simpson, who giggles better than me::
Our dog Billy would like to say hi.
crabby Liz promptly dissolves into puddle of goo upon seeing the puppy
My SO has spent the last 2 and a half days at a bacon processing plant. Now he is on his way to visit some friends of ours, and the wonder dog, Sam.
He is anticipating lots of snuffling will occur.
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.
But I have to tell you…I saw a show on PBS. And I can tell you that’s not a puppy. What you’ve got there is a baby polar bear. They’re adorable but be careful. The snorfing get kind of intense when they hit 600 lbs.
I once got snorfed by a puppy.
Lying in bed one morning, half-awake. Mr. S had left for work and released year-old Phyllis (springer spaniel) onto the bed to snuggle with me before we got up. I made the mistake of yawning, arms stretched out, eyes closed, and that’s when she stuck her entire snout in my mouth.
Bleargh . . . (but the thought still makes me laugh, and we still have to be careful about yawning when she’s near!)
did you see klondike and snow? they were adorable little cubs.
i bought a nifty nose shot of a polar bear when i was in churchill. i had it on the wall at work. it confused quite a few people, they do look dog like up that close.
That was the show :). I want a baby polar bear!!!
close to the ultimate in cuteness.
k&s are still in orlando. when i visited them in 2000, they were talking about starting to separate them. they do have some health issues from what they went through as cubs, and will not have cubs of their own.
their mum did do better raising the next sibling. she died rather young for a polar bear, organ trouble, either kidney or liver. another reason they decided not to have k&s breed.
the 3 who had the most time with them really seemed to enjoy it even through the sleepless nights and the noise they made.
when i was hand raising a kitten i often thought of that show. the screaming little furry, the sleepless nights… thank goodness it only lasted 4 weeks.
hen i spend the night at my buddy’s house, his black lab shoves his nose in my eye to wake me up. i loooooooooooooove me that alarm.
that and my beagle puppy, nordberg (aka “rocketdog”) likes to hop on your lap and shove her nose right in your face. she’s so sweet and loving, you can’t not just love the shit out of her.
