The last words of a CO blogger, killed in Iraq this week...

Andrew Olmstead, a blogger on my list of must-reads, was killed by enemy action in Iraq recently. He had volunteered to return to Iraq for active duty, and in the event of his death, had prepared a final statement to be posted on his blog. That entry can be found here. In accordance with his wishes, I will not politicize his death or his final blog entry. I will merely say this: I agreed with him on some things, and disagreed with him on others. However, I feel he is exactly right about most things he covers in his final entry: the nature of life and death, of government, and of war.

His voice will be missed. My deep condolences to his family and friends.

Thread in progress.
