Words fail me.
I was unfortunate enough to watch the version of this show that already exists - I think it’s called Saving Sizemore. VH1 follows Tom Sizemore around as he tries to regain control of his life and career. The episode I caught had him take a drink before a meeting with someone, and he fell out of the car when he got to his destination because the alcohol mixed with his medication made him nearly catatonic. Hilarity did not ensue. What a horrible idea for a show. They try to justify it by running an Al-Anon ad after, but it’s simple exploitation and cringe-worthy. A terrible, terrible idea.
