The limits of racial tolerance -or- Would you want your daughter to marry one?

At the risk of being a buttinsky… there’s more than money involved in being able to “afford” a certain lifestyle. You are also paying for those things by living in a culture you’re not entirely comfortable with. The big question - and only you and your wife can answer this for your family - is whether the whole price is worth it. Not just the amount of money you’re spending, but the cultural differences you have to live with.

Not a buttinski, thank you. I did ask for comments, viewpoints, advice, whatever. You’re right of course, there is always a price to pay. Overall it isn’t too bad, just some fairly unique problems. We talk about this sort of thing occasionally but are generally too busy getting on with life to get philosophical about it. So, is it allowed to ask what a “flodnak” is? Just curious.

Thanks.

Testy.
