Yep, Latoya for certain. All of the clues muddled me last night, but my husband was researching folks on the internet (cheating).
We cheered when Nick took his mask off and was not wearing that bloody turban.
My problem with the Latoya notion is, she’s 62 years old. And they’re throwing a lot of hints that seem to point to Paris Hilton, but I don’t think that’s right either.
So, just spitballing here: what if it’s actually Paris Jackson, Michael’s daughter?
Because then the police badge clue wouldn’t have made sense. Especially because she said “this isn’t a prop, I serve and protect”. That would make me think it’s the ACTUAL badge she used on the show.
Unicorn’s elimination meant that I no longer am completely in the dark when it comes to the cast. I never would have gotten Tori Spelling, but the internet did.
My ironclad belief of the Rabbit being Joey Fatone is now waivering because the magic bits make me think it MIGHT be Niel Patrick Harris. This is exactly the type of show he would do and he can clearly sing and dance and stuff. I still think Joey, but only like 80% sure.
My Beloved claims The Rabbit is Michael J. Fox, the clue being that twitch he does, but I’m pretty sure the reason the reason he twitches is the same reason he couldn’t do those dance moves.
Last night I recorded the show but didn’t watch it, then spoilered myself by reading a FB thread about the reveal. And it turns out I’m 100% fine with just learning who everyone is; I don’t think I need to see any more performances/clues. I’ll keep recording the episodes, though, just in case there’s ever something I should see.
I like to think I would recognize NPH’s voice: I’ve watched Dr. Horrible’s Sing-A-Long Blog way too many times, and when I recently decided to check out A Series of Unfortunate Events on Netflix I recognized NPH as the singer of the theme song before it even registered that he’s in the show. Of course it’s not out of the question that he’s the Rabbit, but…darn it, OK, I’ll watch (his part of) last night’s show so I can listen a little closer. ![]()
I don’t think MJF can sing (or could ever really dance). Also, he’s only 5’4.
(I was a huge fan of his back in the day!)
Nah. NPH sounds nothing like the Rabbit. He’s also more fit and not as pudgy. Fatone also dabbles in magic. 100% that is Joey Fatone.
An updated list of my guesses and who was revealed.
(Yes, I’m vain enough to continually list my guesses because it’s my thread and I’m vain dammit)
Peacock – Donny Osmond
*Hippo – Never had a guess (tuned in late)…was Antonio Brown
Monster – T-Pain (so says mrs. Cups)
*Unicorn – Tori Spelling but only because that’s what everyone else says…was Tori Spelling
*Deer - Terry Bradshaw…was Terry Bradshaw
Lion – Can’t remember right now
Rabbit – Joey Fatone
Alien – LaToya Jackson
Raven – Ricki Lake
*Pineapple – Tommy Chong…was Tommy Chong
*Poodle – No Idea…was Margaret Cho
Bee – Gladys Knight
Next week is the first week they don’t split the singers anymore. You can also tell this competition is REALLY unfair to people whose primary profession isn’t singing. In retrospect they should have made this competition only people who couldn’t sing (or at least aren’t “singers”).
Lastly, I really just have no clue who the lion is. Hopefully I can learn something next week.
The updated bracket:
Peacock – Donny Osmond
*Hippo – Never had a guess (tuned in late)…was Antonio Brown
Monster – T-Pain (so says mrs. Cups)
*Unicorn – Tori Spelling but only because that’s what everyone else says…was Tori Spelling
*Deer - Terry Bradshaw…was Terry Bradshaw
Lion – Can’t remember right now
Rabbit – Joey Fatone
Alien – LaToya Jackson
*Raven – Ricki Lake…was Ricki Lake
*Pineapple – Tommy Chong…was Tommy Chong
*Poodle – No Idea…was Margaret Cho

Yeah, Lion and Monster I’ve got absolutely nothing.
These revealing objects aren’t any help either. I was sure Peacock was Donny Osmond, but how does that work with the rainbow flag?
I’ve never seen the show before, but last night I was passing through my aunt’s living room while she watched and paused to say “Why is Neil Patrick Harris dressed like a peacock?” and she explained what she was watching. In that few seconds, with no context, it seemed pretty clear to me that was NPH - he didn’t seem to be disguising his voice or anything.
Very possible. Next week watch it and tell us who the others are!
Thank Og for Dr. Ken. I couldn’t watch it without him.
And the host got that bloody hat back. Plus sparkle. :smack:
I got a Rumor Willis vibe from Lion from the beginning, though I don’t recall anymore why. I think one of the clues was that she’s Hollywood Royalty. Also, her figure / stature remind me of photos I’ve seen.
People here at work agree with TPain as Monster. I’m not familiar enough to with him to say.
Also, I read somewhere that the rainbow flag could refer to DO’s role as Joseph and the Technicolor Dream Coat.
It can’t be NPH because at one point he said, “Your parents had my poster on their wall”. No parents are going to have a poster of NPH on their walls. He’s too young for that and “your parents” are too old to have a Dougie Houser poster.
Also, the Peacock’s voice is too low to be NPH and too mature sounding.
He performed in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. He wore a long wig, wearing a Jesus loin cloth, and sang in a cage (jail).
It is absolutely Donny Osmond.
This is a fun show, I really like it. My favorites are Donny (Peacock) and Gladys (Bee) but Monster (no idea) is really good too. I do think the Lion is Rumer and Alien is LaToya. Don’t know about the Rabbit. I’m glad it got renewed for a second season.
Thank you! I’m reconvinced.*
Googled T-Pain…yep, I don’t know anything about that guy.
- About Donny Osmond
The thing that gets me about Monster = T-Pain is that T-Pain never really “went away” or had all these demons that I’m aware of. Sure he was lambasted for being the face of AutoTune, but he’s been pretty consistently recording/making appearances without it and I don’t remember the industry hating him as much as he makes it seem.
Is there some reason my guess for Monster (Michael Vick) is right out? Are there clues he doesn’t fit? He certainly fits the “hated” and “monstrous” part of it.
Noooooo way Vick is that good of a singer.
Monster and Peacock are my locks to win it because Donny has a great voice and T-Pain has a very underrated voice
I thought Marie Osmond already blew it on social media. I don’t watch the show, but I heard Donnie Osmond was definitely one of the singers, because Marie said he was.
