For any comic book geeks out there you know that a comic book story is flirting with greatness when it has a small town preacher, with Jesus in his heart, going up against Galactus.

I’d be more inclined to agree with the OP if some context were given.
If Galactus even notices the preacher, no matter how Jesufied, I’d be sorely disappointed. At most, maybe Galactus is passing by and indifferently steps on him like an ant.
