Okay, can’t find the old thread so I’ll make a new one.
The person executed was:
Stephen Baldwin!! YES! I’m so happy! But apparently, he’s coming back for something or other according to the preview of next week’s.
Did anybody catch the reference to Anderson in the graveyard? (Kathy was right when she said that game was utterly bizarre, by the way.) One of the gravestones said “A. Cooper.” Bring back Anderson! Go away, Ahmad! The show’s so silly without Anderson.
I’ve found this edition of Mole to be utterly boring and silly. The egos of the stars ruin the show in my opinion. I won’t be surprised if Corbin Bernsen turns out to be the mole, but I don’t think either Erik or Kathy is the mole.
Btw, I agree that Ahmad is NOT a good host when compared to Anderson.
I think Michael Boatman is the mole. Also, when I first saw A. Cooper, I thought it was Alice Cooper. I think the show is very entertaining, and Kathy Griffin is a hoot!
Nah. Frederique is the Mole. Think about it - she’d be perfect. As a model, everyone expects her to be stupid and physically inept, so they’ll be quick to excuse away her screwing up of challenges. Just look at the charades game - she and Stephen both sucked at guessing titles, but everyone leaped on Stephen, not her. Besides, you can bet that the powers that be want to keep her around as long as possible for the eye candy effect.
At this point in the thread, I suppose people already realize spoilers are ahead, so I’ll forego the tag…
I think Frederique is my number two suspect, after Michael Boatman. Frederique did an awfully good job as waitress, when she could have just dropped the chicken on purpose. But Boatman’s refusal to go cliff jumping was awfully suspicious to me. The whole “wife told me not to do it” seemed to be tacked on after the fact.
In the first episode, Boatman didn’t do much with the sheep, but the show was edited to make this non-obvious. The mole doesn’t need to do anything blatant on the first episode, anyway.
Plus, the producers always pick someone that is not immediately suspect, but also intelligent enough to not screw up the mole role. Boatman fits that criteria better than Frederique, IMHO.
Finally, I think Stephen Baldwin chose Kathy Griffin in the quiz. Boatman is a guy, thus would have resulted in more wrong answers for Stephen.
Every Mole program has a clue that reveals who the mole is. One time it was the star pattern in the sky showing the moles zodiac sign. I’m sure this show has a clue somewhere, or already did.
I am SO mad at myself for missing this episode! However, I read the summary on ABC’s website, and I’m sticking with my original prediction that the mole is Frederique.
What about Erik? Why didn’t he agree not to open the last coffin when he knew it was a skeleton? Kathy was even telling that they should just take the $10,000 instead.
I think this is the first time that someone has been executed and someone has said something bad about them. In the last series, Mole 2, they only said nice things, even with Patrick who was acting like a jerk (and had that diary scandal attached to him).
Apparently there is a hidden clue for this one that gives away the Mole. I don’t know what it is, but it’s on the TWoP Mole spoiler boards if you really want to know. Please don’t post it here.
Despite Erik’s yes-god-damn-I’m-the-mole-&-I-don’t-care-who-knows-it behavior, I still suspect Boatman & Kathy more. But maybe Kathy is just incompetent.
If nothing else, they are not telling us at the beginning of the show to look for the hidden clues.
I just briefly looked at the TWoP site mentioned above, and it has nothing of value. It’s all random speculation and, at this point, joking around. Plus, nobody has written in to me or my writers with any relevant clues – we were getting TONS of e-mails about 'em in Mole 2.
Also, don’t forget that a fire in the building where the show was being edited (just a few weeks before its planned premiere) destroyed a lot of the work that had been done on the show. So even IF they had been planning on putting in clues, that idea might have been tossed aside in favor of reconstructing the show in time.
