I came upon this site recently. This guy takes children’s drawings and paints them realistically. The results are absolutely brilliant and often hilarious. They also have a sort of Tim Burton-esque feel to them.
I love that guy. I so want to own one of those!

I love how he manages to preserve the “feel” of the original drawings, as that is one of the hardest things to do.
I want this. I must see whether The Beguiling comic shop can order it. 
I think this one is my favourite. It’s kind of creepy but I love the expression on its face.
This pizza-eyed guy is cute too.
And the supeheroes absolutely kill me.
