“That part of the world” being…?
Sheerness, Kent, UK. Specifically an area known as Bluetown.
I saw these two scruffy guys try to snatch a 5-6 year old girl off the street. One guy grabbed her hand, and the girl ran. Later, his accomplice came up and it looked like they were trying to find another target.
I another one: I was going to work and I found a backpack on the sidewalk. I was going to ignore it, because maybe somebody dropped it and would come back soon to pick it up. But, it looked like an elementary school child’s backpack, so I figured I should try to see if there was a name on it or something. I opened it, and immediately I could see it wasn’t for school. There was one book in it, and I opened it because usually schools put their names on the cover. It was a fake book, and inside was what looked like half a kilo of marijuana. I called the police to pick it up.
One time, on a public trolley, a lady sitting a few seats up from me, was actually flossing her teeth. There are a lot of things I witnessed more disgraceful than this, including treatment of the poor and elderly, AIDS, etc. but for some reason, over a decade later, I still think of that woman on the trolley, as the grossest thing ever. :eek:
I wonder if that’s better, or worse, than someone clipping their nails, which I’ve seen on buses.
Mine was seeing a man yell at his son who was in a wheelchair; he had slammed his sons wheelchair over a bump and the kid fell out and then the dad yelled at him for it being his fault somehow. This was in the really wealthy area I had moved to recently. I literally thought that I was moving to where there was a better class of people so to speak. I reevaluated this assumption after that incident.
One time on the Skytrain, our overhead mass transit, I watched a farang (Westerner) busily and thoroughly shaving himself with an electric razor. He got out at Sala Daeng Station, the stop for the infamous Patpong red-light district. Guess he wanted to look spiffy for the ladies.
maybe they charge extra for whisker abrasion.
Depends if it was finger- or toe-nails
with toe nail fungus.

Worse is worn t-shirt with American flag on it.I can see nice new t-shirt with American flag on it but not a worn American flag.Where the t-shirt is worn and faded.
Or some one wearing a American flag do-rag.
