Something about the “Ich habe gelogen” panel always cracks me up. I used to have it as my wallpaper at work.
The tract starts out with Adam & Eve getting dirty with sin. Then forwards in time and all are dirty. Seems to be promoting that all are dirty from original sin. Has Jack Chick gone catholic or something?
Re Soul Story-
I know Chick has only a limited number of panels to work with, and so has to compress things a bit…But, did anyone else find it amusing that Leroy made a date with his deceased girlfriend’s sister, while they were standing over her cadaver on a morgue slab?

What I want to know about that tract is, where does God get His nightgowns? Just the sort of thing my mother’s been looking for (not to mention the prestige—talk about your bespoke haberdasher’s!).
Well, since the Jack Chick’s of the world hate Mormons and disagree with them (heck, they don’t even like CATHOLICS!), I don’t think a Mormon will read that shit, unless it’s for the reasons that I doo.

Yeah yeah, I know it’s not a subject that has been posted to recently, but for all of you who think it’s passe to post to older topics then I say this: Close the thing if you think it shouldn’t be posted to anymore.
Ok so let me make sure I have this right… If the tracts only showed white people as sinners then it isn’t racist? However if you include other races of people it is racist??

How interesting. I have this particular tract (I read 'em for the entertainment value, not Fundie or anything). The copy I have is called ‘One Way’. In it, all the sinners shuffling their way to the fiery pit were mostly white, with a few blacks. Not an Indian in the bunch. Wonder if they reprinted it just for them.

I believe the issue is not with the races used by themselves, but the stereotypes presented for that race. Maybe you did not see them, jive turkey?

I hate Colonialism. And Evangelism. Leave people to find their own religion for themselves, don’t try to herd them like sheep.
The funny thing about Chick Tracts is that when I first found them, I was so sure it had to be a satire, like Landover Baptist…I mean, how can anyone be that idiotic?
