Gah. As does my atrocious coding.
Tombstone
You can be my huckleberry (Kilmer’s already used)
Kurt Russell
Deep Blue
Haven’t seen it but it was a trailer on a DVD I just returned to Netflix.
There’s a Kurt Russell film called Dark Blue, is that the one you mean?
Aside: you’re west coast, aren’t you? Are you up very early or very late, or just never sleep?
Yeah, I meant Dark Blue. At least I didn’t confuse Kurt Russell with Keri Russell or something. I’m still smarting from the Jude Law snafu.
And I’m just up really late. I watched Saving Private Ryan yesterday afternoon and the jerky camera motion at Normandy Beach made me VERY nauseous so I had to lay down to get rid of the headache it gave me and wound up sleeping until 10:00. It really screwed me over.
It’s not like I have anywhere to go for the next three months though, so I can sleep whenever I want. Silver lining and all.
My favorite mobster Dennis Farina was in that.
Everyone is doing searches to make sure we’re not doing double posts, right?
Typecast? Nah.
Snatch
Jason Statham
The Italian Job
Charlize Theron
I admit I was gonna buzzer you cause I searched and turned up a post by Aesiron but his was out of position and thus not part of our chain, so you get by. Lucky.
So I’ll chain ms Theron to The Life and Death of Peter Sellers
Point of clarification:
Was this released in the cinemas or was it an “HBO Original film”? I ask because I thought it was the latter, and if so do we want to use non-theater released films?
If not then I know it starred
Geoffery Rush
You are correct, it did not release to the cinemas, that distinction did not even cross my mind. I’d say it should count. A movie is a movie whether it was first seen in the theatre or on the tv.
The line should be defined though, we don’t want to cross into tv shows since the name of the game is specifically “the movie game.”
Thoughts?
Hm. Well, we didn’t allow it in the last game, IIRC, because I tried to use Witch Hunt to link Dennis Hopper, but it was specifically an HBO movie, and was ruled no direct-to-video, big screen movies only. If you guys want to include them this time, fine with me, but that also opens up those cheesy victim channel movies…
For consistency let’s keep it out, then. This prevents Lifetime or Hallmark movies from being played, and there are plenty of other good options for Charlize Theron (:))
Sorry for the confusion all, the issue hadn’t even crossed my mind.
Charlize Theron, I choose, Legend of Bagger Vance
Will Smith
Men in Black
Rip Torn
