Shibb, AMC and Turner Classic Movies run 24/7. A&E will show the occasional weekend classic, and Starz and Skinimax both show classic movies every Sunday afternoon.
We’re on Bette Davis? Let’s go with Death on the Nile.

I have a VCR, but I’ll try to remember to check the local library first. If I can find it on DVD then they might have some interesting stuff as bonus. I hardly ever go to the video store, I’m too damned cheap.
The local library will absolutely have a copy of it.
Death on the Nile – hm. One of the columnists in Entertainment Weekly called it the best ensemble cast ever. Who to pick, who to pick.
What the heck, let’s go for the obvious:
Peter Ustinov
I have a play for this one that is damned tough unless you happen to have children and own a copy, which I do. But I’ll be nice and not play that one:
The Last Remake of Beau Geste
The other one I thought of was Walt Disney’s version of Robin Hood. It’s fairly old, so I don’t know if anyone would know any of the other voice talents in that one.
Ann-Margret.
Sorry – I should search before posting. She was played 2/14 – when did the new round start, again?
You’re golden. New round started mid-day 2/15.
Grumpy Old Men
Buck Henry
Catch 22
Paula Prentiss
The Parallax View
I never expected to able to play *that *one.
Hume Cronyn
Guess all the other film buffs are watching movies right now…
Nah – catching up on a full day’s worth of the dope.
The Postman Always Rings Twice (the original, obviously).
Wow. Love this movie with John Garfield in it.
“Have you read Gentleman’s Agreement by Laura Z. Hobson?”
It was the book on which the film of the same name (which is my play for this turn) was based.
For extra points, name the film in which the question was asked…
Dorothy McGuire
No idea on the source of the quotation.
Friendly Persuasion
and another “beats me” on the quote.
FTR, you all are way out of my comfortable years at the moment. The lead in that movie (I looked) died the year before I was born.
What can I say – there aren’t a whole lot of movies about us Quakers. There’s this, and, uh …
Two very big names amongst the top three billed. Should I drop some other hints, Shibb (you young whippersnapper), or do you want to?
