Brad Whitford
Revenge of the Nerds II
Robert Caradine
I always mix the Carradines up. He’s the one in Escape From L.A., right?
Apparently. I hope you don’t actually get David mixed up with Robert, or John. Keith I can understand.
Anyway, I like to go with the big guns, Snake Plissken, er, Kurt Russell.
I’d like a go at Kurt Russell myself, WOOF! Loved him in Backdraft .
Well, that’s a Ron Howard film so it had to have Clint Howard in it somewhere.
Well then let’s try another Ron Howard film then. How about Splash ?
In that case it has to be John Candy.
So many good ones. So I’ll go with Cool Runnings instead.
Let’s go with Doug E. Doug.
who’s currently partnered with Ziggy Marley in Shark Tale.
I’m fairly sure I heard the reviewer on NPR mention that Jack Black is voicing one of the parts. Failing that we can go with Will “Jug Ears” Smith.
I’m pretty sure you’re right about Mr. Black, Shibb. So I will go with…trying to decide between two mediocre movies…ok.
Orange County.
Drat, I’ve not seen that one. I was hoping you’d go with Day of the Jackal. I love the scene where
He gets his hand blown off by his own device. A bit gruesome but morbidly funny.
Saving Guffman would have worked nicely, too.
Catherine O’hara (a search shows she’s still good)
As best as I can tell from a search on some very common words, Best in Show has not yet been used.
I think you mean Saving Silverman (I had to look that up since I knew he wasn’t in Waiting for Guffman).
However, quite by coincidence, thanks to Ezekiel’s post I can actually use Waiting for Guffman.
Wow. Imagine that…half a year in and we get a simulpost. Or nearly.
But Best in Show was used in post #1464.
Cool, so Waiting for Guffman is in play. Who was it that was waiting for that, was it you, NT?
