The Movie Game

Hmm what was that movie again? Oh yes, The Firm .

Who was that actress again? Oh yeah, Holly Hunter – and a search confirmed she hasn’t been played in this game until now.

Love her. Love the accent. She was so much fun in Broadcast News.

Albert Brooks and William Hurt were used back in the spring, so let’s bring Robert Prosky into the game.

Rudy

Let’s go with the talented Lili Taylor.

I can only picture her in Mystic Pizza and Say Anything (she was the depressed, artsy friend). Let’s go with Mystic Pizza.

Had to do a search for this one but Vincent D’Onofrio hasn’t been played yet.

Actually, he was played by Maureen on August 30th, which was in this round, and on May 17th in the previous round. So we’re still on Mystic Pizza. And for the record, I don’t remember him in that at all.

William R. Moses

The Cactus Kid

Incidentally, the Mystic Pizza cast does indeed include one Vincent Phillip D’Onofrio.

I hate when you post movies that I’ve never even heard of. In my (weak) defense, I was apparently living in a non-English speaking country when this film came out. Did it actually play in movie theaters?

As for V. D’Onofrio, I wasn’t implying he wasn’t in Mystic Pizza, just that it’s been so long since I saw that movie that I only recall bits and pieces of plot and a handful of characters. Mostly the female ones, for whatever reason.

Identity

Back, for a moment, to Mystic Pizza: Caught a few minutes of this last night on WE or Oxygen. Definitely a very young Vinny D’O there! Everytime I think about that movie it makes me hungry for lobster rolls, which I’ve pretty much only ever had in Mystic, CT.

Cool movie.

Ray Liotta

John who?

The only thing I can recall her in right now is Six Days / Seven Nights, which was not very good.

No, it wasn’t, but it featured Danny Trejo.

Now, there’s a face you don’t forget, although to say that movie “featured” him is a bit of a stretch. Let’s go with From Dusk Til Dawn.
