It looks like CBS is moving towards becoming the Procedural Network. “Threshold” looked interesting untild I read that Brandon Braga was one of the producers. Close to Home sounds like a cross between Desperate Housewives and any one of CBS’s other crime dramas.
THe Amazing Race is back, but after two seasons almost back to back, I’m a little burned out. I guess I’ll see how I feel come the fall.
Lots of Aliens on TV this year. I’m always glad to see more genre stuff on TV. I’m sure most of it will be crap, but if even one of these shows is good, I’ll be happy.
It’s nice not to have to worry about this show being renewed anymore. This fall’s edition will have groups of four racing instead of two, so that alone will make it something new and interesting. Hopefully we won’t get another reality show veteran competing.
