The following is the textbook definition of “MPSIMS”, also known as “Anthracite loses her freaking mind sometimes”.

I don’t know any of these, as I was 9 when the 80s ended in 1990. However, I can at least give a rough translation of the French lyric in case anyone knew it in English.

More idiomatic, I guess, would be “What could keep me from hearing it all when it’s right in front of me” or something to that effect. Hope this helps . . . I don’t even recognize half the bands on this.
