The newest version of FireFox has fixed my SDMB issues

When you go to a forum and get a list of the threads, next to each thread is a button that, when pressed, is supposed to take you to the newest post in that thread.

When I upgraded to Firefox 3.0 that button did not work properly. It seemed to take me to the post I had last viewed, but maybe I am wrong. (I didn’t spend much time trying to debug it.) It certainly didn’t take me to the newest post.

The latest version now does.

OR: Maybe Jerry fixed something in the boards. If so, my apologies for giving improper credit.

In any case, if you too have missed this function, I now see it again.

It’s worked properly forever for me and I’ve been using Firefox for possibly 4 years now? Something else must be afoot.

Maybe… it worked properly in 2.0, there was a thread about the issue and others here shared that they had the same issue when they upgraded to Firefox 3.0 - which is why I posted that it now seems fixed. Basically we were told that there was an issue with VBulletin or some such.

::Shrug:: No matter to me. If it only helped me, I’m still pleased.
