What an emotional episode! I totally got what Amy was saying about giving your whole self. I wonder if she will be able to handle being the winner, or if she really wants it that badly any more. Then Michael tearing up and agreeing with her, you could tell the stress was getting to them all.
I thought the deep-fried meatloaf was genius! But I sure wouldn’t want to be around Jag when he’s like that. Jeez!
Yeah, Jag really is a Jeckyll/Hyde sort of person, and I’ve grown to dislike him.
I was surprised about Michael - he seemed to be doing OK, up until the last ten minutes, when he blew it - they asked about his culinary point of view, and he said something absurd like letting the food speak for itself. He might as well have served old raw chicken as there’s just nothing to redeem a non-answer like that when having a point of view is probably 70% of having a show.
I was very surprised by Michael’s response. They are always talking about each person’s POV and he gave such a wishy-washy answer. I wasn’t surprised that they let him go. I really like Amy and I hope she wins.
