The Off to work MMP

Pancakes - light and fluffy
Bacon - Crunchy enough to bite into without it flying into pieces
Coffee - never drank it even once in my life.
Chili peppers - same as coffee.
Explosives - Metalmouse wants big boom.
Meat - Medium Well or I’m sending it back…like Midget, older does not mean rarer.
Brownies - any way, as long as they are chocolate. And Walnuts. Lots and Lots of Walnuts.

Sat through my last (I hope) Directorate “Town Hall” meeting, only dozed off twice in two hours. Rode with my branch chief, who while he runs the worse meetings in the Western Hemisphere is quite bright and likealbe, so good conversation.

Happy Toesday.

Menu discussion continued:
Pancakes - light and fluffy. My mom’s buttermilk recipe is awesome.
Bacon - Crunchy [del]enough to bite into without it flying into pieces[/del], and crunchier.
Coffee - [del]never drank it even once in my life.[/del] pretty sure I have coffee instead of blood. Cream, no sugar. Dark, dark, dark.
Chili peppers - gack. Good grief, no!
Explosives - Hmmm, why?
Meat - Medium [del]Well[/del] RARE or I’m sending it back.
Brownies - any way, as long as they are chocolate. No nuts. Phoooey! Chocolate, and more chocolate. With some extra chocolate.

How’s about your aigs? I like mine over easy.

Pancakes - Sweet potato pancakes, so a bit more dense.
Bacon - nope
Coffee - nope
Chili peppers - nope
Explosives - in my boss’ back pocket, please.
Meat - beef should still be mooing, chicken and pork, just done, please.
Brownies - chewy, no frosting, pecans are OK.

My Dr apt was at 9:30. I finally saw her at 10:40. Must be nice not to be slave to a schedule. Anyway, I have a little arthritis in my right shoulder and tendonitis. I’ve got exercises to do and some anti-inflammatories to pick up on the way home. Here’s hoping I don’t have to do any more than that. Getting old sucks.

Why isn’t it time to go home yet??

Forgot to add - no snow here - just rain. Which suits me just fine!

I detest pancakes.

butters, brinner sounds good.

doggio, with all of your OT, you should stand the MMP a round.

Pancakes - waffles
Bacon - Crunchy with a little chew
Coffee - hot, sweet, stong and blonde…like my men.
Chili peppers - somewhere around 3/5 on the Thai scale.
Explosives - once I’m far enough away to not risk life/limb.
Meat - medium rare for beef or lamb. Raw for some sushi and sashimi. Fully cooked for chicken and pork.
Brownies - chewy

When I got off irk yesterday, my car wouldn’t start. I guessed the battery, since it had been a bit sluggish on the colder mornings. The maintenance dude gave me a boost and I drove it seven minutes to the Toyota folks who installed a new one with a two year, roadside assistance warranty. It started right up in so I c0ould come to irk in the snow this morning. :frowning: :stuck_out_tongue:

I don’t detest them, that is reserved for bananas, liver, and red beets. They are very far down on my list of foods I choose to eat.

Eggs have to be scrambled or in an omelet, with lots of extras to cover up the egg taste. Or deviled, deviled eggs are good.

Meat: medium rare to medium
Brownies: yes please
eggs: any which way but over easy or soft boiled

Pancakes - light & fluffy as opposed to…what? Overcooked & dry?
Coffee - got that one right.
Chili peppers - I’ve never drank one either. Errr, wait, had them in a beer. I’ll pass on drinking them again but love to cook with them, though usually will pull them out before plating the food. otoh, steaks & hoagie get hots & eggs get Tobasco added.
Explosives - I used to shoot professional fireworks shows, nuff said.
Meat - Medium-well. Cow should be D - E - D ded & cooked; won’t eat it if it’s still mooing.

I’d like to turn over a new leaf & put our past differences behind us.
I’d like to treat you to dinner so PM me your address & I’ll send you a gift certificate good to my favorite haute international cuisine dining establishment…

…IHOP.

I like pancakes but I like them plain with nothing on them. I’m open to trying out different textures

Hey, midget, do you just write music or do you record it also? I might commission “Clarinet for balloon & GoPro”.

Howdy Y’all! Sneakin’ in a post before I head over to the church house. Two of us are in charge of the bacon and snausage. Bacon shall be crisp and snausage shall be done. They are link snausages, so a little crispy on the outside, tender and chewy in the middle. Anybody who requests differently gets directed to have it their way at Booger King. Yes, I have said that on many occasions. The pancake cookers make pancakes light and fluffy and nummy! BTW y’all will be thrilled to know that the griddle is clean and in workin’ order thanks to da bear. Also I opened the @#%$!*## over head door for the servin’ line as we will serve from the steam tables in the kitchen. I hate that door. I went ahead and did it this mornin’ when no one was around to hear me tell the door what I think of its mother.

{{{WetOne}}} ummmm ick! Hope you and the cat are feelin’ better.

OK, gotta take off and head to the church house.

I have some JDD and bro drama to tell y’all as well.

Laterz!

Emily, regarding your pianos, do you make little Voodoo dolls to play them?
Do you know what Spiderdope looks like?
I have money. :dubious:

I haven’t made voodoo dolls before. Maybe it’s a skill I should learn.

I do some music recording on my laptop with a simple music recording software program. And I have done commissions.

Home. Fed (sketties.) Chilling.

I got things straightened out at the dentist’s office - apparently, my dental insurance hadn’t paid, so the nice lady at the front desk submitted a second request that they get their asses in gear. Yay!

And we got the estimate from tree guy #2 - almost $500 more than tree guy #1. If I don’t hear from tree guy #3 in the next day or so, we’ll probably just call #1. He’s the one who’s removed several trees for us and we know he does good work.

**FCD **has been walking - yay! Nagging works! He’s snoozing now - silly man didn’t nap today.

I think that’s all. I can’t brain any more.

Tahred. Logging off.

MWAH!

Pancakes - I’d rather have buttermilk biscuits with plenty of butter, thanks.
Bacon - medium is about right for me. Limp doesn’t really do it, but dry and crumbly doesn’t, either.
Coffee - nope. Aside from religious factors, I really don’t understand how something that smells that good can taste that vile.
Chili peppers - no, thank you. Total spice wimp.
Explosives - COOL!!! (Mythbusters fan)
Meat: depends on what. Steak or roast beef is good at medium, ground beef and poultry MUST be well done. Haven’t tried pork at less than well, so I don’t know if I’d like it less cooked than that.
Brownies - chewy, nuts are OK, no frosting (it’s overkill, really).

SO glad I have tomorrow off. Corporate honchos coming, didn’t get anywhere near as much done today as I’d hoped. Of course, also being on register, plus a call-out, plus someone in class, plus that meeting I got pulled into didn’t really help. On the plus side of that meeting, I am now a member of the Safety Committee, which might be a useful thing to list on my resume.

Pancakes? Maybe one…if I fill up on empty carbs in the morning, I’ll crash well before lunch.
Bacon? Make it really crispy and I can really only have one slice at a time in my life without a gallbladder.
Coffee? Leave the pot and nobody gets hurt.

We’re still on pins and needles to see when Social Security can approve DH’s disability so he can quit work entirely and focus on healing and surviving the stem cell process.

The new chemo is working on the tumor, but it’s kicking his ass down the road and back again. He’s had a monster headache, probably from the platinum (well that explains some of the cost!) and the pharmaceutical efforts to kill the headache have left him muddled.

Pancakes - waffles preferred, but both ok, despite what the Quacks want.

Bacon - Crunchy, and a half kilo is a single serving, right?

Coffee - hot, sweet, light. Liquid splenda is a godsend. Prefer Tim Hortens, but the local locations closed, despite my best efforts.

Chili peppers - Not if you tied me to a tree and put a lit bomb in my mouth.

Explosives - once I’m far enough away to not risk life/limb. No boom today, boom tomorrow.

Meat - Cooked ER style–a good vet should be able to bring it back.

Brownies - yes please. I may BE nuts, but no nuts, thanks!
