I hope they go with this route further. One of the things I really liked about the Office UK and didn’t like about the US one was the US camera crew seemed far more like a magic eye that could follow people everywhere. In the UK one, you got a far greater sense that many significant things happened off camera and you had to piece together the story from subtle things on screen. In the US one, the camera seems to always be at the right place at the right time, even when it’s absurd that it would be (catching Angela at Dwight’s Mussolini speech or the Season finale kiss for example). It just seems to be pandering to me and I hope they start moving away from that.
