I didn’t see a thread.
So. Admit it. If you worked for Michael Scott, wouldn’t you elope?
Michael was just being Michael, but it’s hard to believe people let him drag that wheelchair down the aisle. And everything else he did.

Toby, YES!
As soon as I saw the bouquet being thrown I knew there was going to be a Ryan/Kelly joke. I was glad to see that I wasn’t disappointed.
I really thought that Michael was going to get KTFO by Bob Vance. I was kind of hoping for it too. It’s the first time he’s made me feel that way.
Fuck. Roy and Pam. Fuck. I really hoped that they weren’t going to do that.
They were renewed for another season so I guess we’ll have to wait for next year.
“Also, Pam and Roy!”
-Pam
No shit. I’m trying not to yell at the tv too much.
It was really satisfying to see someone not put up with Michael’s shit. He was so far out of line so many times - oh well, someone like that at your wedding would make for family stories for decades to come.
Loved that the Pastor, when asking for the vows, used Bob’s full name.
Which is of course, Bob Vance of Vance Refrigeration.
I thought it was one of the episodes where Michael is too over the top. Too boorish even for him, especially given that he seems to have learned something from the Andy affair. His character walks a fine line.
Good Jim episode though. The opening bit with the altoids was classic, and I liked his “wedding crasher” set up.
That was the last Office of the season? NOOOOOOO! Say it ain’t so!
Pam and Jim will get it together eventually. I loved Karen gettin’ down with the band! Very realistic scene (well, maybe because I’ve been *that girl * at a wedding).
I think that hajario jsut meant that now that there’s another season it gives them license to string it out.
I think there are more Offices this season.
Okay, as I posted (very late) in last week’s thread, they aren’t offering the “watch it again director’s cut” on the NBC.com website anymore…just two minute clips and $1.99 downloads from iTunes. Pooh. That means I have to remember to set my VCR each week again…and remember to rewind the tape.
"She’s looking matronly today, but lemme tell ya, in high school she was known as “Easy Rider”.
Michael’s gone from lovable buffoon to exhibiting cartoonishly ridiculous and unrealistic behavior. I hope they dial him back a bit.
Where was Jan? I can’t imagine Michael wouldn’t have asked her.
We’re not supposed to believe Roy and Pam are back together, are we? Snap out of it, Pam!
I thought about Jan’s absence, too. I figured it was because she doesn’t want everyone to know that she’s with Michael, and there is NO WAY he wouldn’t make it known to everyone that she is.
I enjoyed the episode, but was a little disappointed that they either ripped off one of my all-time favorite Simpsons gags or just coincidentally came up with some thing extremely similar. Back in the mid 1990’s, Homer was teaching a “Secrets to a Successful Marriage” class that he started with “Webster’s Dictionary defines ‘wedding’ as the process of removing weeds from a garden”. Then came Michael’s toast, which was uncomfortably close to that for me.
Otherwise, fun episode, but I agree that Michael needs to be reigned in a little.
I think she just got caught up in the moment. I mean, she basically was at her wedding only it wasn’t her wedding. (I almost accidentally typed “Wayne’s basement” just then, as in, “Only, that’s not Wayne’s basement!”) Anyway, then Roy said some sweet things about how it was the nicest wedding he’d ever been to, not realizing it was the wedding Pam had planned for him, remembered that the flowers were the same as those he’d given to Pam at their prom, and showed regret that he hadn’t been more involved with their wedding plans. I can totally see how Pam could get swept away in that moment with the glimmer of hope that Roy might change. I think she’ll find out otherwise, but I can see how it happened.
Which is why I’m hoping she doesn’t continue the fantasy and enact the whole “wedding night” thing.
I can’t believe I’m actually investing any emotion into this. It’s a TV show. Snap out of it, McNew!
Michael was just too painful tonight. Accusing Phyllis of letting a stinky fart? Come on!
I don’t ever remember Michael being a lovable buffoon. He makes me cringe - he’s a human train-wreck occurring in slow motion.
I liked the jokes Jim played on Dwight this week. Subtle, annoying, but not mean and nasty.
And of course, there was Creed being Creed.
Me too. I just wanted to slap Jim when he looked all distressed at Pam leaving with Roy. Hello? Idiot? She was available, and you decided to go all-in with Karen. It’s YOUR FAULT! . . . no, no I’m OK, really.
I agree Michael was ridiculous (though the flashback explained it to an extent), but the other folk were great.
Dwight: You look as beautiful as the queen of England.
Kelly: I know, there was an emergency. (later) I look *really * good in white.
But I seem to have missed the Kelly/bouquet joke - what was it?
When Ryan batted the bouquet away from Kelly
