Does anyone know of a site that lists the organizational structure of the Scranton office of Dunder-Mifflin, including Jan Levinson (no longer Levinson-Gould)?
I need to create a mock employee list, including job title and department, for some documentation I’m writing. And I think the cast of characters on The Office makes for a perfect employee list. I couldn’t find such detailed information on the official page on the NBC site. I can’t even find the last names of any of the characters beyond those listed in the opening credits and Jan.
If anyone knows of a site that lists such information, I would appreciate a link. In the meantime, this what I know (or think I know):
Michael Scott - Regional Manager Dwight Schrute - Assistant to the Regional Manager (though I think Michael officially dubbed him “Assistant Regional Manager” in one episode) Jim Halpert - Sales (don’t know his official title) Pam Beesley - Receptionist Ryan Howard - Temp (but temp what? I know he’s Michael’s man-crush lackey, but I don’t know his official responsibility) Jan Levinson - Michael’s boss, but what is her official title? Stanley - Sales(?) Meridith - Sales(?) Phyllis - Sales(?) Oscar - Accounting Kevin - Accounting Angela - Accounting Toby - HR Kelly - ??? Creed - ??? Roy, Darryl, Lonny, et al - Warehouse Sadiq - one-episode IT tech guy, but I have to include a techie in my list. Packer - all-around obnoxious ass, but what does he do for the company?
Can anybody expound on my list with details (or names I may have forgotten)? What about structure? Do Angela and Kevin report directly to Oscar, for example? I’ll make up facts where none actually exist, but I’d like to be as realistic as possible.
I agree with Lou. I’ve heard Michael refer to him as a temp numerous times. And the way the MBA school issue was first presented was that Ryan mentioned it in passing (I think when Michael was making Ryan help him clean out his car for his “date” (ride) with the purse-seller that Jim later dated). That’s when Michael decided to make Ryan his “project”/full-time lackey/full-time bitch.
Regardless, thanks for the info so far. This has actually become quite a fun project for me.
Typically in a company that size, someone reporting directly to the CFO is some sort of vice-president. Often, the CFO also has the title Senior Vice-President.
Didn’t Jim get promoted from simple salesman to something like “Chief of Sales” or “Head of Sales?” I think he got a little bit more money and there was even some sort of dispute over whether he or Dwight was superior.
(Or am I thinking of the Brit show?)
