The Office - Nov. 12, 2009 (open spoilers)

I thought it was one of the better episodes of the season. Lots of laughs, plus that Resevoir Dogs closer was hilarious. I wasn’t liking the co-manager storyline, but I finally appreciated it last night for presenting two different styles of management that appear during a major crisis.

P.S. The NBC store is offering an Office version of Clue. I not only want this, but I want to insist that all players use exaggerated Southern accents.

Yes!! I would assume he would just go missing. Something like that.

Stanely wouldn’t find work as easy. He may end up selling used cars. Jim was looking into a grocery store chain. He would be up against Wegmans, is he nuts? I can put in a good word for him if he wants a job their though – (not that they listen to me).

Oh, they are screwed at the moment, that’s why it would take a summer to land other jobs. Of the crew Oscar I see as one of the one’s likely to find work

Was Pam wearing rubber gloves at the end? Any particular reason?

No, Kevin would go on tour, as the drummer of Scrantonicity-2

Really didn’t like this episode. Slapstick opening, slapstick closing, and talking in silly voices in between. The only thing missing was fart jokes. The closest I got to a laugh was when Angela turned around for baby carrots.

She was wearing the white lacy gloves that came as a prop for her Deb Utante costume.

I thought he was talking to Wallace about a paper deal with a supermarket.

Yes! I do a dead-on impression of Charlie Utter (from Deadwood) that is the envy of all. Well, it’s the envy of my wife and cat. I’m not sure about the cat.

You’re right, just saw it again. I think this will turn out like “Broke”, Michael quits but sticks around for a while. I think Dunder will be hanging by a string for coming weeks maybe? Michael will end up saving it.

“Mine are crossbows.”

Creed was hysterical. Seeing his car, I can’t envision him driving anything else. It was near perfect. (Perfect would be if one of the doors or the hood was a different color).

Like most of the episodes this season, there were some very funny moments, but it was too wacky. I do like that the entire cast is getting a lot of attention.

The panic that goes through a company when its financial woes become apparent to the employees was captured very well. I wish it had focused more on that instead of distracting us with the game… it was a little too much.

Am I the only one who thought Creed was going back out to his car to smoke a joint?

Annnnd my Christmas shopping is done.

I hope when Creed comes back he’s done something comically tragic, like tried to burn off his fingerprints. (Though that sounds like more of a Michael move.)

Next Week’s episode title is a little bit of a spoiler of sorts, so I won’t bring it up except to say; it’s out there along with the description.
Oh, and where’s my first deleted scene!? Who’s the real killer? Was it Mose in socks?

Michael: “You’ll have to be more specific, Dwight. I get, like, eight emails a day.”

$1.99 to continue the story…I wonder what it would have said?

NBC has nothing to replace it with.

Well they could always give Leno another half hour.

Thanks. When they do give him an extra 30 minutes, we’ll know who to blame.

Good episode, and I’m excited that they look like they’re moving away from the “co-manager” plotline, which I disliked.

I’m hoping for a Creede show spin-off. They can follow him around the country now that he’s on the run.

They could bring back Earl. Maybe even wrap up that cliff-hanger it ended on.

So what’s with Jim withholding the news that he got from David Wallace, that they’d likely be insolvent by the end of the year? He didn’t tell anyone. Think he’ll keep it from Pam as well, leading to some marital difficulties?
