I sort of enjoyed this one. I liked seeing Michael have a good day, and liked that he was the only one willing to man up and tell Andy the truth. I actually thought Jim was being kind of a dick in that regard.
I’m also glad to hear that Andy got some from Angela. Poor guy worked hard enough to get it.
Where was HR during all that drama? Did Toby jump the fence again?
Yeah, but it was pretty clear she was never going to tell him, and there’s only so long you can let a guy twist in the wind like that. Somebody needed to tell him.
That was before Dwight pulled the mock-wedding stunt, and Angela was then shown going to Andy and aggressively making out with him. I thought the implication was that she had slept with Andy out of anger at Dwight.
Dwight’s no saint, but Angela really deserved what she got.
Hour long episodes can be hit-or-miss, but I wish this one had more content. Perhaps Michael reveling one of his ‘secrets’ to Wallace without even realizing it. Maybe some more back-and-forth with Dwight and Andy as they realized that they were both being played.
I wonder what’s next since most of the story arcs are resolved in some way, (and probably not for long). When will we see Ryan and Jan again. Will we ever see Holly? Will Pam and Jim’s relationship be tested, or will they set a date? What’s Garbage been up to?
I so thought Wallace was going to decide that rather than trying to extract info from Michael he should visit the office first hand to make his own observations and then we’d see them pulling into the parking at the same time Dwight and Andy were going at it.
Except that Michael is not Andy’s “friend”. He is his boss and they are in a workplace. It’s like when Dwight and Andy told Jim to “mind his own business”. It became Jim’s busines as the two of them started setting up a fight in the office.
That got a laugh anyway. It was a pretty good episode for me. I like how Jim had no idea how to handle the “duel”, but he ended up doing pretty well. He took away the means of escalation and let it handle itself.
