Maybe Fox will hire enforcers for the moderators. It would be hilarious to see Trump dragged off the stage for paying no attention to the rules. For instance I dont see him paying any attention to time limits on his statements.

CNN recently reported that Trump in 2004 said he identified mostly as a Democrat. Maybe he’s a mole trying to break up the Republican Party and throw the election in favor of the Democrats.
I don’t believe that. I think he’s running as a Republican because that’s where he could possibly win. He’s a weird one. He talks like a straight talker, but he’s also a bigtime flip flopper.

You remember mostly correctly. He was leading in April 2011, before the first debate. He withdrew in May, but was still tied for second with Huckabee and behind Romey in August. He didn’t so much collapse as just never seriously campaigned.
He has apparently now said that he will appoint Palin to a cabinet post. In the annals of stupid things he has said, this has to rank up near the top.
