Skelton, I have two names, both functional on this board (“Snark” and the older “Snarkberry”). However, I think I registered “Snarkberry” with a different e-mail address than “Snark.” Once you register the name, though, I’ve found that I can use either name. Just to test this, let me try to post under “Snarkberry” right now.
If this works, that means that as long as you initially register under a different e-mail address per name, you can use each name no matter which account you are using. Here goes nothing…
Skelton, BTW, it’s generally considered undesirable to use more than one name at a time, or to post incognito (unless it’s funny). The example I gave, “Twyla,” was the alter-ego of a guy most would call a troll. He didn’t make many friends on the AOL SDMB by using multiple names.
I couldn’t care less if “Snarkberry” vanished off the server forever. I don’t want to be known as a Kool-Aid drink, so I changed it to “Snark,” announcing that I was doing so in the MPSIMS forum.
