Got up this morn & pack stuff & left for once-a-year trip down South for fun to splish & splash in big pond (right side of pond is home to King Chuck & Prince Will, but not his Spare son…& Spain, too.)

I was in town of old board game you all did play - roll dice, buy place & get or pay rent until one soul has it all. Pay more if small green house on land, pay much more if large red place that you can spend a night is there I even went to jail! …but just to pay a call on

Nice weather 'cept much wind. Too much wind! I even wore shades post the sun go down, just to save eyes from blown sand. Took some pics but no pics from sky as it twas too much wind to fly that - wind was more than a score of miles each hour; even worse when it pass near tall place which shifts flow of air
Went into three diff take-your-cash halls . One can sit & look at screen to play game just feet from where you can play same game with real, live soul. I do not get that; why go place to play on screen when you can do that from home. ::shake head:: One-arm crook lost last arm & does not barf coins; not good odd to win; why do people push button to play that? I did not play at all. Only bucks I spent there was for chews that got salt H 2 O on them. They is the Yummmm!
They do add sand to beach; guard blew horn at me to leave even though I was no where near big tool (Hint: brand is sun hue & change from lots of legs 'fore it flies) that move earth; was he 'fraid I would steal some sand? I just take pic of sun fade from sky!
Last year I was dry for first month; not so for this year; I sit here with a post-meal brown sweet train-man-who-lugs-bags-in-red-hat in my hand. It is yum, too.

You know what they say: don’t drink and post to one-word-piece-at-a-time threads. I don’t know who says that, but I’m sure there is one some place.
There were not too many bangs on New Years Eve, and that is good. Last year there were bangs all through the night, and that kept me woke.
Don’t feel sad; you’re in the same boat as a lot of folks who need bangs on their head or the like to stay woke.
Damn! I left them in the car, which is out front but it is cold out & I feel wuss like & do not want to dress to get them just a few feet away. Need shoes, coat & hat; too much work
This morn the cat threw up on the big quilt on my bed (It’s not quite a quilt, per se, but the word I would use breaks the rules of this thread). But with luck, this is the day I had a plan to take the quilts to the place where you pay to wash clothes any way (Does it break the rules to just split a word in two?). I need to use the big tool there, 'cause the quilts don’t fit in the one I have at home.
See, that is one more good thing of rats as pets. Rats do not throw up. I guess it’s not known for sure why they don’t throw up, but they don’t, and I am glad for that.

For Yule Mom and Dad sent me some meat cooked low and slow from the Tar Heel State, which is where we once lived. It’s hard to find good meat like that here in the Gold State. The name of the place that made it breaks the rules of this thread, but it’s a well known place for that kind of meat. It got here this day. They froze the meat and the corn things whose name sounds like “hush dogs” and put them in dry ice, which I thought they would. But they froze the sour sauce you put on that kind of meat, too, which I think they did not need to do. Now I have to thaw it 'fore I can eat it, which means I don’t think I’ll get to eat it this eve. 
This day I did wash some things that I wear; and brought in the house some wood for the stove; and met with a group by Zoom; and made bread and pies.
I was not the sole one on Zoom who had a cat come sit on a lap, which all could see when the cats sat up tall.
I got them & ate one but it was froze; it did crack when I bit it. The one I ate this morn was warm & much more good.
I just woke up and took care of the rats. I gave them fruit for their first meal of the day and let them run and play on the couch. One still gets meds for his wheeze, but it has been two weeks now and he is just about done. I’ll be glad not to have to do that twice a day once it’s done. Now they have all gone back to their cage to sleep for the day.
There is fog here this morn, but right at my house it is clear with sun. That makes a cool view, to see the fog down there while there’s sun here. I plan to take a walk down to the beach in a while.
This day I will work more on my plan to learn a new CAD app. I have used two such apps the past few years, but a few weeks past I found a new one that I like a lot. I can’t name those three apps here but the new one starts with an “O”; you must know it if you know CAD apps. It’s fun to learn it and use it.
This is my first day back at work at the end of three weeks off. What did I work on three weeks in the past? Who knows?
