I also liked the gun customization. That sold the system to me.

I ended up massively overpowered, though. It was fine, but could blast through enemies like crazy by mid-game.

My main complaint about the weapon system was that it was way cheaper to buy a new, higher-level weapon than upgrade an old weapon.
