The Palin bubble is a bad strategy

Sure she does.

And the Justice Department is doing such a good job investigating Bush, and for you oldsters, Nixon.

You keep pointing this out in various threads like it somehow matters. Do you think she will absorb a careers worth of foreign policy experience just by shaking these peoples hands?

They are merely exchanging long protein strings. If you can think of a simpler way, I’d like to hear it!

Thanks, Matt Groening!

Not simpler, but much more enjoyable.

It shows how deeply Karzai is into Bush control. I am sure he has better things to do than give Palin a scent of credibility by meeting with her. He barely knows who she is .And he had to sit with a woman.

Now that would get Palin some press attention!

Well, as long as The Senator keeps doing all the talking…

John McCain: Remarks 09/23/08

…maybe this website won’t keep growing like wildfire:

Women Against Sarah Palin

Sorry about the double post. Missed the edit window

She could see world leaders from her place in the receiving line! She’s an expert diplomat now!

Just a quick hijack to say THANK YOU for that website!

Its kind of ridiculius that on the one hand, John McCain claims Sarah Palin is ready to be president, but on the other hand, she is NOT ready to take questions from the media.

She’ll have a hard time replacing Ted Stevens in the next four years, since he will probably not be reelected this fall. Running against Murkowski might be an option, though.

It is completely logical to keep her hidden and educate her as much as possible before they are forced to bring her out in the debate. If she is not as stupid as she appears, she will be well trained before the time is right. Everyone will be shocked how much she knows. Then ask her a week after the debates to see if she still remembers it.

Of course it’s bad strategy – except that, in this case, letting the media have access to her would be even worse strategy.

The current president isn’t really a fan of taking questions from the media either.

Ouch. Well, hopefully, there won’t be much press scrutiny once she’s VP.

:dubious:

See, this is the reason for the bubble:

Sarah Palin on John McCain’s deregulation record

Do they make them any dumber in Alaska?

I’m starting to wonder whether McCain has taken a sharp mental decline in recent weeks. He’s been hiding from the press and now he’s trying to delay the debates. He wasn’t so afraid of extemporaneous speaking in the past. Why now is he shit scared of answering unrehearsed questions?

Thank you also for the link to women against palin.

Here is the thing, she is a media construct almost completely. She was a beauty queen, a weather girl and now a politician. All three things have nothing to do with the reality of what goes on out of sight. You just have to be ready for the camera. She is getting ready. They know what questions will be asked because by the time they actually relent to an interview, they will be able to call the shots.

It is no damn different than interviewing Tom Cruise. Mention Scientology and he will walk out or refuse the interview. The campaign is not letting her out because that raises the value and the power of the campaign to dictate the interview.

The problem is that our media, for the most part, cares more for “the scoop” than the quality of “the scoop.” I wish like hell they would stop throwing softballs and do their fucking jobs. The days of the scrappy investigative journalist are over, buried by the People Cover Story.

The bubble is not bad strategy. The bubble is the only strategy. Her incompetence is showing and they must hide it. She will be trained to respond properly when her debate time comes. If it comes. It has been suggested that if the cancel the first presidential debate ,they will want to reschedule it at the time of the VP debate. Then there will be no time for her debate. There are only about 40 days left.
