The Peace Corps is suspending operations and recalling volunteers

Most people don’t even know that the program exists any more; I did, but was personally surprised that 7,000 people are currently in the program!

You know they mean business when something like this happens, although I don’t like the fact that they’re basically leaving them high and dry; they are not eligible for unemployment.

There are some endangered animal preserves in Africa that I donate too. They are sending their volunteers home.

I’m amazed you think people don’t know the Peace Corps still exists. That’s not my experience at all.
