The Peanut Butter Sandwich: theme and variations

I feel we should acknowledge Jimmy Carter’s 100th birthday in the peanut butter sandwich thread.

Happy birthday, Mr President! :birthday::tada::100::confetti_ball:

This appeared in Heloise today. Seemed appropriate to share.

The most exotic PB sandwich I had was at Beach Week in 1988. PB on bread and then covered with chex party mix. We all agreed that it was actually quite good.

Other than that, I like raisins and cinnamon on a PB sandwich.

Wow- I like the sound* of that.

*crunch-crunch

Back when I could eat sugar and carbs (which I will likely never be able to do ever again) when a standard pb&j sandwich wasn’t enough I would make it a double-decker: three slices of bread with two layers of filling.

You have good taste.

When I can find good fudge, I always get Rocky road fudge. So good.

For now, peanut butter on a corn tortilla. Mmmm. Might add cinnamon.

Oh my! :astonished: How intriguing…
