The wife said she recieved one call from the husband, which was cut short, then a second, in which she told him about the world trade center. she says her husband asked if it was a commercial airliner, and she said yes.
i’d been rather skeptical of the passenger mutiny angle, but apparently this woman says that she did inform her husband of what was going on.
it does indeed look like the pennsylvannia passengers were aware of the situation, and their actions might indeed have been heroic.
