Interesting. They don’t put them in order of vulgarity, but match the order of reactiveness with the actual chart. In other words, the noble gasses cover “tit,” a fairly innocuous word.
Still would have been nice if they’d included the artificial elements, and used phrases that don’t actually exist, but, in theory would be insulting.
The chart was designed from the guys from Modern Toss; they have an annual exhibition every May at a little gallery in Brighton that my partner and I like to attend – that periodic chart was one of the prints on display and was selling quite briskly apparently!
My favorite Modern Toss character is Alan, followed by Mr Tourette, Sign Painter, for any other fans out there.
Where the hell is “Bugger”? Sure, there are a couple variations (Bot-64, Bos-33), but the essential root, as well as the divinely all-purpose “Bugger-All!”, are sadly missing.
