Methinks that woman will not be smiling so much once gravity (g = 9.80665 m s[sup]-2[/sup], to keep in the spirit of things) has taken its toll, and she can throw them over her shoulder like a continental soldier. 
Not a bad approximation, but the equations assume that they would hard solid lumps.
A better model would be a numerical solution of a force balance for each nodal position. That was you can get the shimmy and ripples too. Anyone want to do a quick nodal model in MatLab?
