AAAHHHHHHH I was just in the PIT!! What am I doing?!?!! Tell me what is the appeal of that place is.

Actually, I think it’s just a place to vent your frustrations with other posters and with the board in general. Not recommended if you are in a happy mood. They will crush your spirit.

I enjoy the pit. I send most of my time there. It’s the place where you get jolted around a little, get a few laughs, maybe get some perspectives.

It’s only as bad as you let it be.

OR, you could really piss them off by just being too damn nice. Sorry, that is my sick sense of humour. :smiley:

I would have thought (from what I read of your posts) that you would be able to Handle yourself!!

this is what to do.

If you get into a flame war, be able to back your claims up.

I was curious I think. I answered one of Pizzle Boy’s anti Jesus things…

The key is to say your piece and walk away and not look who answers after you for 24 hours.
Even if you ask questions.
Come back at least 24 hours later, and it will all seem too stupid to care about.
In 48 hours, the entire thread will be too stale to revive, and will have been forgotten by all involved.

I’ve actually never been in the pit, (well maybe once or twice and only for a moment) but this thread has sparked a curious interest. I think I’ll go check it out.

If I feel up to it, I’ll return with a full report. I probably won’t though.

You can’t stay away, can you? I saw your jesusfreak thread and you and pizzleboy both said the same thing over and over. No one gets converted on one session. That’s why the jesusfreaks come back. You can come back, too, but just wait for a new thread so it’s not all “'Tis!” “'Tisn’t!” “'Tis!”

Well I’ve been to the pit and learned that intelligent flames are preferred to substanceless profanity.

I was just over there, and the Pit seemed very tame.

I answered these and didn’t notice any swearing, much less belching. But then I do tend to have a selective eye.
