I got a new username! I used to be MusicMistress but now I’m the Captain Blunty! I am really proud of this name, as it’'s my nickname. My friends gave it to me because I am very blunt when it comes to expressing my opinions.
I also wear an eyepatch and have a talking parrot.

Hey, I like it. Makes me think of you in an entirely different light. Before, I used to envision some well-to-do lady from Henry VIII’s time playing the virginals or other musical instruments, who would always get called uypon thusly to play for the court: “Music mistress, will you play a little something on the virginals for us? Your music is so soothing, and we like to hear it.”
Now, I envision a rough lady pirate (like Anne Bonny?) who’s very blunt with her words… and always giving as good as (or better than) she gets! Quite the contrast… I like it, at any rate.

That’s the last reason I would have thought of for someone being called “Captain Blunty.”
Yeah, I hated that old username. I love music so I was trying to find an appropriate name (and when I registered it was, like, 5 am!) and that’'s the only thing I could think of at the time.
I hated it with a passion.
My friends and I have this wierd group name thing going on, Troy. My best mate is called “Sarcasmo” because she is very sarcastic, another friend is called “The ice maiden” because she never shows much affection to anyone, and my best male friend is called “Man-bitch” because he’s a real jerk. And I’m the Captain.
It doesn’t make much sense, but we were a little tipsy at the time and it just stuck!
You do realize that from now on, everyone who sees your username, but hasn’t read this thread, will think you’re a pot-smoking pirate, right?

I was thinking more along the lines of a super hero as opposed to a pirate, but yeah.

Definitely an improvement. Musicmistress sounds like a low rent superhero. Captain Blunty sounds like a brand name for a strap-on. And, hey, strap-ons rule.
