Dover Publications, not missing a beat here, has released commemorative McCain and Obama Election paper dolls, including the respective wife dolls and a complementary “Election Night Scorecard.”

It’s amazing how much more charismatic and attractive Obama is, even in paper doll format; McCain looks miserably uncomfortable that suit. Heck, even Ms Obama looks friendlier than her counterpart.

So I don’t understand paper dolls, I guess.

Do people actually dress them up and play with them? Put on little shows? Have them kiss? Are they geared toward kids? Old ladies? How can they even be called “dolls?”
