The end of an era. I was raised on The Price is Right. You will be missed Bob.
I would love to see him and David Letterman together on The Amazing Race, as he claimed in the opening skit of the Daytime Emmys.
My husband saw that, and he said Bob seemed serious. Would that be awesome, or what?
I liked that it was a regular show – they did a special a few weeks ago anyway, and somehow it was nicer this way.
I always thought the show would end when Bob croaked, but obviously (not that I’m unhappy about it) he decided to bail first. Damn, he was oldish when I was a kid. He’s only a few years younger than my elderly grandma!
Whoever they pick to replace him has one hell of a job ahead of them – how to do the show their way and make it work. I’m honestly surprised CBS didn’t decide to cancel it altogether, and I hope they don’t screw it up. It’s just a game show, but so many of us grew up with it it’s gonna be weeeeird without Bob…
Been watching the Sopranos lately, haven’t we?
