The Price of Gasoline

Regular unleaded is running anywhere from $1.799 to $1.899 here in the Portland area.

The motorcycle uses the 92 octane stuff - it’s up around $2.099 - $2.149 right now - glad I only have to buy 3 gallons at a time

It’s somewhere around 5.80 pesos per liter, which is roughly US$2.10 per gallon or so.

Atlanta checks in: $1.54 for regular 87 octane.

$1.59 in Jackson, Miss. That beat-up 13-year old Civic is lookin’ mighty mighty good these days !!!

83.9 cents/l in Greater Vancouver, 3.89liters per USGallon(I think that’s what it said on the side of the milk jug), =$3.26CND/gal or $2.14 USD/gal.
Hey, let’s take a trip to Point Roberts! Mr. US Customs Man? Why are you looking inside my bum? I’m just coming down for cheap gas…

I worked it out using US gallons.

Cheapest grade–and I must mention that I only glanced at one station–is $1.77 (eastern Los Angeles county).

They remodeled the gas place next door (California) & it just opened a few days ago, the price of the lowest self serve is $1.96 US Gal & premium fetches $2.19 per US gal.

Just filled up this morning: $1.599 (regular) while premium was $1.799. Thankfully, I start my new job tomorrow (it’s only 1.6 miles away from my house!) AND I get 28mpg.

When I filled up last night, it was at $1.599. The highest I’ve seen it so far was $1.68, about 3 days ago.

Gotcha beat with 35 mpg (1990 Civic wagon). I wonder which Doper gets the best gas mileage?

I drive a Smart Pulse. I get between 48 and 52 miles per UK gallon.

wow kferr, wow ! and it’s a Daimler, too? very kewlio.

I just filled my van, I passed one station that was $1.69 and drove down the frontage road, all the other stations around the freeway were $1.76. I went back and got gas at the 1.69 station.

I wonder why I have the high gas price? This is mid california, we aren’t that far from refineries & we are next to the pacific ocean so they can ship tankers here & they do.

Conspiracy theory! :dubious:

I’m paying about $1.60.

There’s a Sam’s in the next town (not convenient to home, but I might go there this weekend) that was about 10-15 cents cheaper.
