Great idea starting a board “off” of Pyroto. Not much we can do about aside from crawl into a fetal ball in the corner of the room, or jsut grin and bare it. I will be back in August, but that doesn’t mean that I gotta like what’s going on here. It would have been nice to get “some” kind of notice.
Thanks for the thread, manhattan! I signed up here a few months ago when you told me about SDMB, but I never really got into it. I guess now I’ll have plenty of time…
I’ve been busy in RL (I know you didn’t know I had one) and haven’t spent the amount of time I like to on Pyroto this past week and now it’s basically kaput! I swear I’ve feel I’ve been attacked more by the servants than Soupy!
At least I got to attack him back!
This is definately not fun. Thank you Manny for inviting me here. Still not sure what I want to do, I’ll be busy for a while longer doing the siding on the boat house. Not a happy wizard here!
Well it really sucks that Pyroto has been reseted.I knew something about an experiment but nothing about a Cycle1.If Cycle2 is over are we gonna reset again? And if so how long will Cycle2 be there?Any ideas?
Well i just got my vacation yesterday and was very anxious to have more Pyroto time this holiday…Guess not!
Well talk to ya later when there are more messages more…Thanks for creating this:)
Hi, Manny! Well, thanks to your link, you made finding this forum simple, so I’m here now.
I took this opportunity to reclaim my name from the Stone. So that others will recognize me, I’m the wizard known as Nelwyna.
Thanks for the invite, manhattan! There’s plenty here to keep me occupied during the hiatus from Pyroto. As to that, well, I’m still not sure whether I’ll survive the “interregnum.” I’m quite disenchanted with the game right now – I feel like the last ten months’ hard work was discarded without any regard for the work or the feelings of the people involved. Right now, I’m not sure I’m willing to put the time and effort into the game again, since my last efforts seem so unappreciated.
I have plenty to keep me busy for the next few weeks – a trip to Canada, visitors from England, a birthday party and, of course, the travails of mundane life. Thanks for giving me someplace to come and hide when I’m tired of all that!
It’s good to see so many names that I know here. I look forward to keeping in touch with you all.
I had hoped that we would have some answers by now, but that is apparently not to be.
So have some fun, read some threads, and jump right into the Straight Dope. Check the archive of Cecil Adams’ columns – he knows all, and he’s funny to boot!
