I’ve found yet another book that quotes or very own Eve! Not counting her own I have something like a half-dozen books whose authors have recognized as we have her quotability. The latest is Once Was Enough: Celebrities (and Others) Who Starred a Single Time on the Screen by Douglas Brode. She’s quoted in an entry about Peg Entwhistle, the starlet best known for jumping to her death from the HOLLYWOOD sign. Oddly, my sig is a quote from Eve on that very topic.
I’m not through the whole book yet so for all I know Eve is quoted elsewhere as well. If so I’ll certainly post an update.
