Yesterday, in my continuing quest to be Informed, I sat down to read the New York Times. (I think it was the edition from the day before yesterday.) I skimmed the letters to the editor, and spotted a couple letters on the death of the subway token. The first thing I thought was “It’s just like something Eve would write!” And then, one surreal moment later, I spotted the name by one of the letters - it was, in fact written by Eve! Proving once again that the world and the SDMB are both small places.
I didn’t know letters to the editor paid well.
Our gal is certainly moving up in the world.
