As someone who is in highschool (one week 'til it’s over!), I have never heard of one of these parties.
and those colored jelly bracelets are code for what sex acts they have done, and green M&M’s make you horny, and in the US alone over 3500 babies are sacrificed to Satan every year and if you play Stairway to Heaven backwards you’ll ruin your stylus.
I’m also in highschool and also haven’t heard of these parties. But then, I wouldn’t.
Was it the same story as “The Lost Children of Rockdale County”? I saw that documentary on PBS, awhile back. (In short: Upper-Middle Class Teenagers, having lots of sex, get lots of syphilis. Wah-waa, boo-hoo. It must be that blasted Jazz music.)

You think the vast marjority of teens should put strange genitals in their mouths as a way to defy people who say they oughtn’t? 
If it were that easy, I’d like to encourage teenagers to write their S’s sideways to be all individual and stuff. It makes you look really sophisticated, and no one’s essay is ever marked down because the person reading it can’t decipher what it says.

Considering rainbow colors are the colors of the Gay flag, it just seems kinda weird to see it applied to a heterosexual blow job party.
There have been lots of news reports about oral sex not being considered “real sex” by teens, and thus accepted as OK. Don’t know if this is Urban Legend or true.
Wonder if this is making it any easier for Gay boys in that age group to score?
That raises an interesting question(for me anyway). So a gay wouldn’t be interested in a hummer from a hetero female? Even if under the influence of bad beer and teen hormones? (ok, scratch the man part and put in randy teen…)

With a lot of the teens I know, this is considered true. I mean, oral is considered to be a bigger step than, say, just feeling each other up, but lesser than actual sex.
And by “sex” there, I meant “intercourse.”

I have a 5 year old daughter - I am incredibly concerned about appropriate teen behavior since will be an issue coming my way in a few years…
This was true way back in the late eighties/early nineties when I was in high school too. When Clinton got a blowjob at work and suddenly the news outlets had to figure out what to call it on the evening news, our parents were all freaking out about his definition of sex, while we were happily sucking cock and “cherishing our virginity.”
Just sayin’. The distinction is nothing new.
That kind of thing is totally dependent on where you are, of course. In my hometown in the late 1990’s, Oral was a step above Intercourse. And anal was just freaky. But it happened.
I’m only 6 years post high school–and I’ve never heard of such a thing. Of course, saying that 14 year olds will be all shy about sex and so doing oral instead seems a good bit naive. True the high school males might be missing out–but guys in their twenties* (at least in the Seattle area) were doing quite well with the girls in their 14s and 15s.
- Mean average that I could pick up seemed to be 25.
